The STUDIOS PDQ Instant Home Studios System is available as both freestanding and Wall Mounted Systems, will provide you with as many options as you might need over the coming years.
The STUDIOS PDQ Instant Home Studios System have Hillman Locks pre-assembled into all of the 4’ Vertical Posts; this will provide you with the flexibility to not only secure the fully assembled system to the wall when not using it but also to remove the “feet” and base posts so that it can be safely suspended from secure wall mounted hooks.
So, if you prefer making your video calls against the backdrop of a dedicated wall, then it might make sense to purchase the stand-alone Wall Hanging System. This unit, like all of the STUDIOS PDQ Systems is available in widths of 4’, 6’ and 8’ with a height of approximately 4’ in all cases.
When purchasing the stand-alone Wall Hanging System, it will arrive to you as a closed frame that will have L-connections at each of the ends of the frame; the stand-alone frame will have four (4) L-Connectors versus the two (2) L-connectors that arrive with all of the other Systems.
This Wall Mounted System can be easily upgraded to a freestanding System that includes the base “feet” as well as the varying base heights of PVC (increments of 1’, 2’ and 3’ heights) along with the necessary connecting pieces. For that reason, the 4’ Wall Mounted System will come with a larger Chroma-key that will already support being used with the 6’ Wide free standing System.
Upgrading to a full Freestanding System will provide you with the flexibility to use your unit at home (or on vacation) as well as bringing it into the office where you may not have wall mounting options.
